TOMEINA is the Japanese word for ‘transparent’. Alchemists believe that there is a transparent layer surrounding the universe and everything in it, which they termed “universal sympathy”. Everything, living or inanimate, is connected through this layer, which allows us to feel what we are unable to see. The garments in this collection represent the concept of Universal Sympathy through the prevalent use of transparent material such as nylon and latex.
