PIXELFOLK collection was inspired by the traditional hand-woven fabrics from the „Somogy”, „Sárköz” and „Nógrád” regions of Hungary. The well known patterns of traditional folk dresses and household textiles (birds, geometric motifs and stylized human figures) are transformed into pixel patterns, which then are pierced into the leather and felt surface by hand. Each bag is spliced together,bearing a symbolic reference to the traditional method of weaving. Some of our products are made of vegetable tanned leather.
