Junk Yard Fun is an A/W collection with wool and cotton as the main yarns, producing thicker textures and oversized silhouettes to create costume-like jumpers. Junk Yard Fun combines both machine, hand knitting and crocheting techniques to defy the notion of knitting as a hobby for elder women in order to produce ‘homemade’ knitwear. While handcraft plays a major role in the making process, the introduction of knitting techniques done on more advanced equipment brings in a contemporary element making it a modern collection.
