This season, Symetria explores the artwork of US based sculptor Joe Gitterman. His abstract sculptures are inspired by the moving human form in the fields of ballet and modern dance. His work examines the relationship between movement and the solid form. In this collection, we attempt to show this transformation by giving the presence of movement through frames and geometric shapes that fold and bend gen-tly onto themselves to reveal and conceal the original shape.
