The collection was inspired by Marine Abramovic's performance "Balkan Erotic Epic", which was created in 2004 as a result of the study of Balkan folk culture and can be described as erotic playing with traditional Balkan customs. Ristić wanted to elaborate the collection on this topic and therefore based on the costumes (Balkan costumes) used in the performance for creating the base (shape and length) and completed them with elements taken from costumes from the 17th century (bishop sleeves, high neck, wide belts on shingles that emphasize the waist).
