ORIGATA is a 2D/3D leather bag. In the japanese culture, origata is quite simply the art of gift wrapping. It is a special kind od origami. Our work is a reinterpretation about the material, we created an leather origami. In the shinto tradition, an origami symbolizes the natural cycle of death and rebirth. Due to fragility of the paper, the destiny of an origami is a rapid deterioration but it will be recreated many timesand the cycle of deathe and rebirth will be perpetuated by tradition.
