It’s year 2050. The global temperature has risen 6 degrees Fahrenheit. Catastrophic storms and floods have littered the coasts in ocean trash. Civilians must migrate inland and survive against the elements as they make the climb to higher elevation. Mount Everest is the highest point on earth. Many attempt the futile ascent to Camp 5, a non-existent site above Camp 4 and higher than the summit. Camp 5 will never be reached, but nevertheless becomes a symbol of salvation.
