this project is based on ornamental feeling of being objectified. My mum used to be a high profile dancer is south india. This was a progressive profession for a woman of for her time. I wanted to use my own feelings towards this to take ownership of the feeling of objectification, to glamourise it, because I have the power to, not because I don’t have the choice. This collection demonstrates the choice we have to be seen and the extreme fantasy of that choice.
