I created the clothing system inspired by the legendary club "Studio 54" in the club scene of the late 70's in New York. As part of the inspirational research, I was intrigued to discover girls who worked at a club called- "The coat check girls" They are the girls who sat at the seam between inside and outside, between the street and the party, in the coat room. The clothing set I created includes a trench coat, which is of course a prominent feature of every wardrobe in the period, in a contemporary and trendy version.
