Samuel Acebey's first menswear collection was inspired by the medieval Latin Christian theory and practice of reflection on mortality. Memento mori is Latin and means "remember (that) you will die". Taking a reference to three essentials: Life, Death, and Time. The collection delivers a hint of modern, dark romanticism paired with cool, radiant edginess. Its dark Aesthetic combines avant-garde elements with sportive Materials. Raw edges and sharp cutting lines give the pieces a sophisticated yet rebellious look.
