Named after her grandmothers, Rutika Patki's collection reflects her love for her heritage and family, along with the a need to reinvent and introduce a culturally rich piece of clothing to the 21st century. The Sari is an age old garment that is loosing its importance in today's global fashion scene. from this came a need to upcycle these fabrics that once belonged to her grandmothers, savi and kishori, and create something that she, herself could wear and stand out from the rest.
