‘Lucky Strike’ is inspired by retro bowling. The aim of the project is to upcycle disused bowling shoes, to prevent them from ending up in landfill. They will be sourced, washed using eco-soaps and then the leather will be engineered into a 3 look collection. The shoe fastenings will be used as the main design features and the rest of the garments will be constructed using leather scraps from GHleathers, who only use skins that are a by product of the meat industry.
