Chapuí is a metaphor for decadence during the adolescent age: the experience of replacing the innocent pleasures of childhood through drugs, parties and ridiculous loves. Inspired by movies like Party Monster, Requiem for a dream, and Kids, Chapuí narrates a desire that culminates in self-destruction, social rejection, violence, and possibly some kind of dementia.
