After years of experimenting with menswear, Reo Ma created his first womenswear. Naming the series [For Her], She was his muse. Transforming from industrial equipment to a sewing machine, the unique fabrication in this series were emboldened by a friend, Hanneke Van Broekhoven, whom inspired Reo Ma to merge silk into medical gauze in order to create unforeseen creases within the garment.
An expression of his love For Her, he explained, “Every piece of clothing tells a story, as it carries evidence of our existence.”
