THE COCOON OF MEMORY

THE COCOON OF MEMORY

The “memory” here is as fresh as everything is still in front of one’s eyes. “Cocoon” refers to the chrysalis of a butterfly. Deja vu means the cocoon of memory and the gorgeous butterflies hatched from shards of memories and dreams.
Deja vu blurs the boundary between the reality and the dreams. This is just like the philosophical question arising from Zhuang Zhou’s dream of becoming a butterfly: is it Zhuang Zhou who dreamed of becoming a butterfly, or is it the other way round the butterfly dreamed that it was Zhuangzhou?
