I AM NOT THE GRASS IN YOUR BOOTS

I AM NOT THE GRASS IN YOUR BOOTS

I AM NOT THE GRASS IN YOUR BOOTS IS A SAMI PROVERB.

I had the starting point in my own indigenous culture, and made into a very personal journey that tries to define what it really means to be indigenous today. I was on a mission to uncover secrets and values that I truly believe is universal and important to us all. Values that are connected with time, space, nature, local knowledge, mythology, wisdom, landscapes and animals. I work from the idea that indigenous people are not isolated, they are people of the world, inspired by the term «rooted cosmopolitanism».
