For FW23/24, craftsmanship from different parts of Iran is channeled into timeless and genderfluid essentials:
Mirror embroidery is carried out by Balochi craftswomen; wooden bags are carpentered and adorned through Iranian marquetry—‘khatamkari’; ‘Termeh’—Iranian jacquard, a traditional craft from from the city of Yazd is used in chic urban styles; and other fabrics are either hand-printed through the ancient ‘Ghalamkar’ technique in the city of Isfahan (Iran), or digitally printed with Iranian carpet patterns.
