This Womenswear Autumn Winter 19 collection is called Harsh Beauty.
The collection references the life of a plant and bringing the ‘cacti’ in particular to ‘life’. I have considered plants in depth and thought about the shapes they create, from the soft bright layers beneath the surface that we don’t see to the harsh, prickly and in some cases ‘ugly’ exterior. As the Greek proverbs goes ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’
