NOMB’s F/W 2023 collection is inspired by the biblical tale of Samson and Delilah, a story about guarding your heart and giving all your trust to a higher power. The moral of the story is given to us in an almost threatening way of saying this is what your fate could be if you don’t follow the rules in place, in this case the rules dictated by God himself. Many have criticized the message conveyed by this myth, especially during the Age of Enlightenment when knowledge was sought by means of reason rather resigning oneself to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
