“Coalescence” is a collection that explores the relationship between different kinds of natural materials - textile, ceramics, and plants. Those three elements are used to demonstrate the coalescence of the natural and the artificial in the modern world. All the materials in the collection are white as a symbol of pureness and a beginning of a new life, and they are used on three levels - (1) textile materials like cotton that are made of natural fibers from plants, (2) ceramic that is made from clay which is also a natural material extracted from the earth, and (3) live plants.
