This collection explored hand and machine knitting methods applying gradational guage variations of hand-knitted lace patterns using fine silks, textured linen and cotton fibres. These fibres were plyed and twisted by both hand and machine methods for fine and heavy guage knitting > finished garments were soaked in natural alkaline solutions and hung wet to produce draping and starching finishes to reflect an artisinal making process; devising techniques that can push the boundaries of production processes.
