My bachelor collection is inspired by the tradition of the Czech Shrovetide (Czech folklore celebrations-in Czech called Masopust). It examines its meaning and essence and through clothing, interprets its symbolism which reflects the unchanging inner qualities of people and society. A gentle caricatural exaggeration of the creative concept comes from the imbalance between Shrovetide, as a short-term celebration of abundance and today's time, which has become a "permanent Shrovetide". It is a cult of abundance with an insatiable hunt for material goods.
