Drawing on influences ranging from constructivist architecture, László Moholy-Nagy’s painting and the simplicity of Japanese geometry, MLTV’s SS17 collection presents a sharp assortment of meticulously structured shirts, trousers, shorts and jackets. The sense of asymmetry that unifies the collection reflects not only on the uncertain state of the world, but also the prospect in embracing fluidity and flux. Geometric t- shirts take after an abstracted form of the kimono while long, nylon bomber jackets are printed with shapes evocative of the Bauhaus school.
