UTAB is an acronym for (the) ugly truth about beauty. It is inspired by those who have been victims of plastic surgery, or for those who don’t believe in their own beauty and allow society to control them. In particular, you’ll notice numerous pieces are held together by what looks like metal clasps. There are also numerous pieces that quite clearly resemble bandages, and everything appears very structural and stiff, in comparison to free flowing and organic, representing the rigid nature of plastic surgery.
