The collection is inspired in Ma, a japanese term that can be described as “an interval of space and time”.
Ma speaks of lack as opposed to excess, of silence as opposed to sound. It is the momentary pause in speech needed to convey meaningful words, the silence between the notes that make the music. It is the emptiness full of possiblities.
