series plane_veneer_curved is inspired by a book cover in art nouveau style by the german designer Peter Behrens. Based on his formal principals his book cover was reduced to its plainest and translated it into three-dimensional jewellery. veneer was used to create sustainable pieces out of regional plane tree wood. These pieces occur graphic and at the same time sculptural and radically reduced. They are oriented by the latest minimal fashion and despite of their size they appear light and elegant.
