the 2009 s/s collection has an imaginative name: lovecarpet. the name comes from plastic garment label fastenings that create bizarre texture inspired by the hairy human body. adel uses not only the actual fastenings but also label fastening prints, thus creating a two-dimensional rendering of the surface created earlier by her. another extraordinary detail of the collection is a number of pieces that are trimmed with glue tape.
