This Collection is the closing collection of Parson MFA show for Spring 2016 New York Fashion week. Weaving technique is the main element of my thesis collection. My references include Japanese basket weaving, African wire weaving, Southeast Asia palm leaf weaving and more. Transforming all these techniques into fabrics, ribbons, and placing them on a human body is the most compelling part of my collection. In addition, I combined these components with qualities of the African tribe wrap dress and German artist, Imi Knoebel's colors.
