Viva la mujer vivaracha is a womenswear collection that began with a flower. With its pretty petals that conceal deadly poison, the Brugmansia Suaveolens inspired a metaphor for women; beautiful, and underestimated for how much more lies beneath the surface. A juxtaposition of domestic and glamorous
references, two key stereotypes of womens capabilities, visually expresses this metaphor throughout my research. The connotations of domesticity are particularly poignant in the context of representations of Latin women. This
