'Lineage' is a collection aiming to explore the differences in properties of different fibres, through placing them in identical rib structures.
How does the function and expression of the rib change when made of paper instead of viscose? Silk instead of wool, or paper instead of cotton?

All outfits are knitted using a singular rib structure per outfit, on a Dubied hand knitting machine in straight panels. The choice of fibres and their unique qualities, creates the difference in how the knitted garments behaves and appears.
