Gold Rush

Gold Rush

“But gold shines like fire blazing in the night, supreme of lordly wealth.” – Pindar, Olympian Odes, c 518-438 BC
Gold Rush is more than just dressing some gold clothes on a rusty floor. The pieces are vain, glamorous, supreme and indiscreet. And yet, the collection is a recognition of the truth about us.
Here, the purity of gold is altered by use of ordinary materials, but with stunning visual effects, misleading. The texturing was done by sewing together the ribbons. Stilistically, it is a mix between the statues of the classic statues and the fashion of the '20s.
