Bird – Stone – Water

Bird – Stone – Water

Bird beats water (by drinking it); stone beats bird (by hitting it); and stone loses to water (because it sinks in it).

For this collection we studied the constructions of everyday objects like paper bags and boxes and traditional leather molding technics. We examined the beauty of simplicity and clean lines. We used water to bend the leather into the three dimensional shapes and wooden molds to hold the shapes. We were looking for something timeless and eternal. Like circle. Games like Stone – Paper – Scissors. Or like Bird – Stone – Water.
