By developing a collection focusing on material and silhouette, I wanted to limit the energy consumtion in the use phase in which about 80% of a garment's total environmental impact lies. The materials of which I have worked with are all either organically cultured or doing the least possible harm to the environment. These materials include the finest linen, bamboo, banana fiber, silk, lyocell, polyester and wool from fair trade licensed factories.
