Crystalline Jewellery’s new collection Supremus is inspired by Kazimir Malevich’s Suprematism, an early 20th century movement striving for totally abstract art. Radical for the time, the followers of the Suprematist movement rebelled against rule and reason in their search for art's barest essentials. This led eventually to the use of very simple motifs such as rectangles and circles against monochrome backgrounds.
