The Belle Epoque (2008)

This collection is a collision between the decadence of the Belle Epoque + the Art Nouveau with that of the period that followed, Art Deco. Women were beginning to transform socially, politically, spiritually and physically. This collection speaks to the women of this period who dressed and spoke from a place of authenticity, identity and place.

The textile prints that were created and hand drawn for this collection were inspired by hand made lace and popular botanical prints of the time.
