Used Mostly Velvet Fabric to create this collection, which i showed during Berlin fashion week January 2009 at Projekt Galerie. The Velvet Hour collection is based loosely on the attire of Namibian Herero Women which was inspired by Victorian missionaries, Africanized and bought back to Europe by the designer. Poofs are incorporated around the hips and shoulders and the fabrics are inspired by dark European winters.
