The concept of my collection surrounds using domestic and found materials, and showing the beauty of the process of craftsmanship. My research began when I interned in Ningbo, China, and started taking photos of domestic materials down the back streets of some of the major cities. Inspired by colour and unconventional materials, this collection is mainly made from different types of dishcloths and mops layered with silk and organza to create fashion-forward, luxury garments.
