Originally designed as an interactive stage performance, Venus 2117 is a romantic re-imagination of the astronomical phenomenon, the Transit of Venus, one of the rarest of predictable astronomical events. During this event, humankind was able to obtain the first realistic estimated distance between the earth and the sun. The merged inspiration of art and science sparked the ideas of the collection.
