I wanted to create a collection that is sustainable and a reminder to slow down the creative process and fashion industry (again). Inspirations were Katsuyu, Art Brut/Outsider Art and artists like Hilma af Klint, Emma Kunz and Hildegard von Bingen. Form and Shape resulted from draping and through intensive research of old photographies on which e.g. Hilma af Klint is shown. The symbol of the snail keeps popping up in the collection. It is the symbol for gender lessness, deceleration and mysticism.
