The human is double in its ability to project itself. He knows how to intellectualize the difference between the image he makes of his body, and the one he wants to give. The garment comes to build and support the body: it imitates it. In doing so, the suit physically confronts the image with the physical body. Its existence makes tangible the projections and fantasies associated with the body.
