BEFORE BLUSHING

BEFORE BLUSHING

The sumac takes on nuances of pink and yellow before turning fire-red in the Fall. Its solid, hard wood endures the strong Bora wind that never lets it grow past its shrub size.
Like a warm-toned cloud, the sumac makes the Carso moor look like a piece of sky on Earth. Also known as the fog tree due to its feathered fruits, the plant enchants the eye in all seasons.
