A trip to Istanbul, Turkey, walking through the Souks, seeing the colours, artistry and listening to some of the inspiring history, was the primary influence for this collection. I was particularly intrigued by their colorful lanterns and the similarities to Chinese and other Asian lanterns.The strong edges, bold mixed with neutral colours and structure

Upon returning home, I was reminded of the lanterns I had used in Eastern Nigeria when visiting my grandparents while growing up...it all came together in an insightful way.
