The inspiration for the collection ‘Plastic Zeitgeist to Asian Dhoti’ originated from the construction of a traditional garment worn in the villages of Pakistan called the dhoti. The dhoti is a rectangular piece of unstitched cloth, usually around 4.5 metres long, wrapped around the waist and legs and knotted at the waist, resembling a long skirt.
