The birth of tragedy is the loss of whatever love and faith that you once believed in, that sustained you and nourished you, and is the irresistible stripping away of your right to choose. Tragedy and regret resemble flowers and vines; they grow together, cross, and separate. The flowers will eventually wither and the vines will fail.
