“The Other” is inspired by Simone de Beauvoir’s theory that women are defined in relation to men and not independently. Looking into the similarities and differences of both sexes that stereotypically include attributes, such as: soft, gentle, dominant, powerful and strong, the woman of the 21st century is given all of them, creating a unique look that is based on contrasts emphasising both masculine strength and feminine softness.
