The Grand Hall of the Mountain King, the latest collection from the Felipe Rojas Llanos studio comes as an ode to the physically challenging yet beautiful world of ballet and opera – a narrative of adventurous elegance and poised theatricality, dancing away, entwined, into the early hours of the night. The Autumn/Winter 2011 collection is darker and more lineal than their previous collections, capturing the disposition of a ballet dancer’s art with strong, voluminous silhouettes, and an effortlessly graceful look inspired by the dancers’ movements and the mood inside a grand Opera house.
