These designs were based on the Japanese philosophy and aesthetic; wabi sabi. Drawing inspirations from its imperfection and its subtle beauty of nature, heat treatments and embroidery were employed to form an irregular but lovely surface texture patterns on the fabrics. This creates an understated and timeworn effect essential to the collection.
