The Wake was created as a physical representation of an artist's rebirth. The collection was constructed entirely from remaining bits and pieces of our first ready to wear collection. The pieces were connected together by silver and brass chain symbolizing the weight and pressures of commercial industry, For the presentation the artist concocted a performance in which the audience would have to apply pressure to the artist by burying her alive.
