inspired by the 1985 "Cyborg Manifesto" by American feminist Donna Haraway. The motivation for this collection is to help people self-define their own bodies in a post-human society. The focus is on transgender and gender-nonconforming people who want to escape the currently existing societal discrimination they often face due to them breaking with traditional gender binary roles. This collection is a rejection of boundaries between “human” and “animal”, “organisms” and “machines”, and between the physical world and immaterial things.
