To punish his arrogance, Nemesis attracted Narcissus to a pool and for the first time, he saw his own reflection in the water. The beautiful young man didn’t realize it was merely an image and fell in love with it. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus looked at it until he died and became a flower. People named this flower as Narcissus.
